The Human Side of Data Governance

Hi there,

This Wednesday is our next Data Governance Get Together, and there is still time to register, whether you want to join us in the room or online.

We have a guest speaker - Neil Burge - who is over from Singapore and will be talking to us about The Human Side of Data Governance - how you actually get people engaged.

  • Changing your perspective on how to engage your business peers

  • Why should my business listen to me?

  • Are you sure you have listened to them?

  • How do you get a diverse group of people on the same page?

  • When communication goes wrong - real examples to avoid

  • What skills do you need to develop in order to understand the demand for data and data management in your firm?

The session is at 4pm GMT on Wednesday, 16 November. For those in person, we'll have drinks nearby from 5pm.

In December, our session will be about Procurement, and will be great for anyone that's interested in finding and bringing in a new tool or solution to their business.

The World Cup starts on Sunday, but what can we learn about Data Management from each country?

Then we'll be starting our own tournament via LinkedIn polls to find out which of the 32 is the most important!

Don't forget, reply back to this email with a newsletter idea, and I'll add it to my growing list!

Have a wonderful week,

Charles
